Psili Ammos
Psili Ammos is located 155km east of Hrraklion and 8km east of Palekastro Village. In order to reach this remote beach, you have to walk 10 min. via a short footpath starting from Vai, palm beach.
An exceptional beach with fine, golden sand and turquoise waters. The hills create a natural division for privacy.
Its name means Fine Sand and the sand extends up to the hill. The beach is formed at the end of a narrow valley that is covered with huge sand dunes. The water has a characteristic turquoise colour, making this beach one of the nicest secluded beaches on Crete. There are no trees on the beach, thus you should have an umbrella with you.
