Bebonas

A small settlement located between the Sitia mountains. A graphic and isolated plateau is created between them at an altitude of 700 meters. The area is characterized by intense mountain beauty and lush vegetation even in the summer.

To get to Bebonas village we take the dirt road from Chrisopigi, where after 5 km we end up in the abandoned settlement. It is worthwhile to admire the imposing scenery as well as the mountains that rise along the route.

The road continues from Bebonas and reaches the Avgou pass (740m) and from there it goes down to Kavousi after 12km to a bit demanding dirt road.
